After hearing all the great things about the newly opened (as of May, 2017) Alila Napa Valley, I was beyond thrilled for my stay. I knew that they had a restaurant, The Acacia House led by Chef Christopher Cosentino (read my interview with Chef Chris Cosentino here), but beyond that I was not quite sure what to expect. Read below about this heavenly stay and see why Alila St. Helena must be the next luxury hotel you experience in Napa Valley… 1915 Main St, St Helena, CA 94574
The beautiful room I stayed in with vineyard views! Truly spectacular.
Settling into this incredible room. How can you beat the stunning luxurious room setting with these vineyard views. I’m in HEAVEN!
The lovely welcome from the Alila team. What a lovely surprise being welcomed by one of my favorite Pinot Noir’s: Failla. The Acacia House Restaurant Manager, Michael, and I have become friends through the industry, and what a thoughtful touch that he remembered how much I adore Failla! Yet another small detail the team at Alila did to make my stay that much more fabulous!
The obligatory bathroom selfie. This is my favorite hotel picture to take when I visit a new hotel!
Each patio also has a fire pit, perfect for hanging out in the evening when Napa cools down but you still want to be outside enjoying the beauty.
The coffee provided for guests to make in the privacy of their own room. I thought this was such a cute, homey touch. I, of course, made coffee in the morning and these instructions were quite helpful (I’m a drip coffee girl so wasn’t quite sure how to use a coffee press).
The incredible mini bar which comes fully stocked at no charge. This is truly a luxury hotel, such a class act! There is nothing that irritates me more than when you’re paying over $1,000 for a luxury stay and you’re nickel and dimed for snacks, wifi, etc… Not here, it’s all included which I love.
The peaceful setting at the pool and stunning vineyard views.
Relaxing and of course enjoying some tunes on my Verizon iPad. I truly never leave home without this iPad as the Verizon network works everywhere so I’m never without service even in wine country where service can be spotty.
Enjoying a late lunch from The Acacia House Restaurant pool side. I had heard their Burger was a must try and after tasting it, I see why. This is hands down the best burger in Napa Valley. Read more about the Acacia House and my killer brunch here.
A huge thanks to the team at Alila St. Helena for hosting me for this incredible stay. Your hotel is truly magical, beyond beautiful with incredible customer service, delicious food and a spectacular spa.
