Where is 25 Lusk and why should you go: Twenty Five Lusk is located in San Francisco off of Townsend Road (near the AT & T Ball Park). The menu is inspired by seasonal ingredients and is an overall incredible experience. Whether you’re visiting for just cocktails in their sexy bar area or enjoying a full dining experience you will be impressed. Also, stay tuned they are opening a roof top bar shortly (Spring/Summer 2016).
The incredible Grapefruit Gimlet Cocktail I fell in love with…. So good I had two! As you have probably read, Gimlets are my favorite cocktails and this was the first time I’d had a Grapefruit Gimlet and it was divine!!
Starting with a complimentary tuna tartare dish courtesy of the chef. This was super fresh, tasty and delicious.
The popover with foie gras butter. Extremely rich, yet light and tasty.
First course, Caviar and Blinis. Until this visit I was never a huge blinis girl and I’ve been converted. Incredibly yummy nice salty flavor to them. Wow!
The Scallops which were extremely delicate in a delicious avocado puree. Yum!
The Shrimp and Grits entree. Also incredibly delicious with the grits being a nice contract to the light and juicy Shrimp.

About the Chef: Chef Matthew Dolan who has been passionately developing his culinary talents since he was fourteen years old. He received his formal training at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York following his passion from Café des Artistes in Manhattan to Emeril’s Restaurant in New Orleans, through Europe and then to San Francisco.
