This was such a special afternoon. The last time Kat and I were sipping on Veuve Clicquot was in Champagne France when we visited Madame Clicquot’s original residence Hotel du Marc. What a special experience. Unfortunately, Hotel du Marc is not open to the public (mostly media and VIP guests). However, you can see a behind the scenes tour from our visit to Hotel du Marc here.

Curious about the historic Maison Veuve Clicquot. Read more about Maison Veuve Cliquot here.

Palace Hotel San Francisco

If you are looking for an iconic San Francisco event, I suggest trying the Signature Tea at the historic Palace Hotel San Francisco.  The tea takes place in their Garden Court, and since the early 1900’s guests have been enjoying this lovely experience. 2 New Montgomery St, San Francisco, CA 94105

The tea is served on fine china and includes so many yummy options. My favorites were the tea sandwiches, homemade scones, Devonshire cream, lemon curd, and rose petal jam at $68 per person.
