The Best Hotels to Stay in Calistoga, California

One of my favorite most charming towns to visit in California’s Wine Country is Calistoga. Known for its hot springs, mud baths and wineries, there are a lot of things to do and places to explore. At the end of the day, finding the perfect place to spend the night and wind down is also crucial. Here are my recommendations for the Best Hotels to Stay in Calistoga, California.

Calistoga Motor Lodge & Spa

Perfectly placed at the head of the Silverado Trail, in the heart of California’s scenic wine country, the Calistoga Motor Lodge and Spa is the perfect place to unwind after a long day of sightseeing or winetasting in Calistoga. Guests can soak in the mineral pools fed from natural geothermal hot springs or sip a glass of wine by the lovely pool. Calistoga Spa Hot Springs

Founded in 1952 by chiropractor and health enthusiast, John Wilkinson, Dr. Wilkinson’s Backyard Resort & Mineral Springs is an iconic resort and spa destination located in the heart of Calistoga. Guest can soak in the spring-fed mineral pools, detox in the volcanic ash mud baths, or relax in the secluded Spa Garden. Indian Springs Calistoga

Indian Springs Calistoga is a historic Napa Valley hotel comprised of an eclectic collection of historic cottages, bungalows, and Mission Revival-style buildings. The property also features lush gardens, mineral pools, luxury accommodations and amenities. It is definitely the perfect destination for some amazing dining and one of the most highly sought-after mud baths and spa treatments in Napa. You don’t want to miss staying here as it is surely one of the best hotels to stay in Calistoga! Solage Resort & Spa is definitely one of my favorite spots to stay when I’m in Calistoga. The beautiful hotel is a Forbes Five-Star luxury Napa Valley Resort and provides guests with a full range of spa services, unique wellness experiences, and complimentary cruiser bikes to explore the resort. Be sure to grab a meal at Solbar, the delicious restaurant on the property.
