The Dorian San Francisco A New Restaurant & Cocktail Hot Spot

Why The Dorian SF: Having just opened this week, on September 22nd The Dorian is literally the newest hot spot on Chestnut Street. Haivng attended the opening night party I can say this place is going to be a huge hit so hurry up and check it out.

What’s the Scene Like: As a girl who loves a swanky more sophisticated bar/restaurant, this is just that. An ode to a bygone era, the space is a modern day reflection of a turn-of-the-century Victorian manor in an industrial loft-like space.

What’s the food like: The kitchen will offer classic American fare lead by the Group’s Executive Chef Chris Ricketts. I enjoyed a Slider which was amazing. You have probably enjoyed food from Chris at another Restaurant the group owns, The Palm House, another fabulous San Francisco Happy Hour I recommend!

Location: The Dorian is located at 2001 Chestnut Street at Fillmore and will be open Thursday – Sunday from 4:30 p.m. – midnight and Friday and Saturday from 4:30 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.

What’s the Happy Hour Menu: Oysters. Oysters. Oysters. Seriously any Oyster lovers will be here daily. The Happy Hour special is $1.00 oysters alongside 1/2 off bottles of rose and champagne available Tuesday–Friday from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m.

How are the drinks: The drinks are spectacular. I enjoyed two of the cocktails, both of which were heavenly. As a girl who’s obsessed with Gin Gimlets (my go to as you’ve probably read) I was adventurous at the opening night trying two other cocktails, both of which were divine and I will most likely re order the next time I visit. Which, will be again very very soon! I love this place!
