Ever since moving out to California, I knew I needed to find some incredible pizza spots, and I am happy to say there are so many to choose from. Sonoma County is full of fabulous pizza that I have a hard time deciding between every-time I have the craving! So, I decided to make a list for you all that features my favorite pizza spots in Sonoma County because everyone deserves to indulge in the joy that is pizza!

Diavola Pizzeria & Salumeria

Anyone that is near Geyrserville or Healdsburg knows about Diavola Pizzeria & Salumeria. They have the most amazing charming setting and beyond delicious food. Read more about them in my Downtown Geyserville Dining Guide. 21021 Geyserville Ave, Geyserville, CA 95441.

Glen Ellen Star

The Glen Ellen Star is another must-eat spot when you are craving pizza in Sonoma. Their neighborhood environment, outside area, and inviting area are incredible, but so is their food. Glen Ellen Star specializes in a wood-fire cooking technique for their pizzas and they are just fabulous. They have so many pizza options and you cannot go wrong with any of them! Journeyman Meat Co

Wood-fire pizzas seem to be the trend in Sonoma County, but that’s a trend I can get with! Journeyman Meat Co. is another special spot in Sonoma for when you want some incredible pizza and friendly staff. I loved engaging with Pete and Cathy Seghesio’s the lovely owners as I tasted the fresh and fabulous wood-fired pizza and a glass of wine. I recommend getting the Verde Pizza which has Soppressata salami, smoked mozzarella & arugula, SO good. Read further about my visit to Journeyman Meat Co on the blog here.

The Matheson

The Matheson in Healdsburg is a new restaurant spot for incredible pizza eats. The freshly tossed dough and wood-fire oven makes this pizza to-die for! The Matheson Healdsburg is planning to open in August, so make sure to stop by and enjoy this Sonoma County upscale farm-to-table restaurant. I had the pleasure of getting a sneak-peak of The Matheson with Dustin Valette, Chef and owner, and loved the vibe and food. Make sure to visit this new spot! 106 Matheson St, Healdsburg, CA 95448

Pizzaleah

Pizzaleah in Windsor, California of course lands on our best pizza list because of their delicious selection of pies. Whether you enjoy thin crust or pan crust, any pizza you decide on will be just divine. Make sure to try one of their specialties like the award-winning Old Grey Beard pie with mozzarella, sausage, hot honey, and lemon zest, or create your own with their fresh veggies and tasty meats. 9240 Old Redwood Hwy #116, Windsor, CA 95492

PizZando

PizZando is another incredible pizza spot for those of you looking for some tasty pizza in Sonoma County. This restaurant is a Healdsburg gem that overlooks the historic Healdsburg plaza and is the perfect place to enjoy its rustic menu of wood oven pizzas. You can’t go wrong with any of their pizza options. I also recommend you get a fabulous salad or appetizer to start off your meal, especially the DiStefano Burrata. 301 Healdsburg Ave, Healdsburg, CA 95448

The Red Grape

This special pizza, The Red Grape, is an inviting spot located in Downtown Sonoma where Carol and Sam Morphy decided to bring New Haven Style pizza to California. Red Grape’s pizza is made with a thin and crispy crust that is high-fired in a stone-lined pizza oven. With an assortment of fabulous different flavors, this pizza restaurant has such fresh ingredients and tasty eats. Not to mention, their wine list is large and accompanies perfectly with your meal! 529 First Street West, Sonoma, CA 95476 

Urban Pizza Co.

As you all know, I love supporting restaurants that are family owned and Urban Pizza Co. in Santa Rosa is one to try. The Urban Pizza Co. has a mission and that is to provide you with a delicious handmade product combined with genuine and friendly service. The love from this locally-owned spot is showcased in each pizza and they are just delicious. Make sure to head over to this pizzeria and choose from their large menu of hand-spun pies! 500 Mission Blvd unit b, Santa Rosa, CA 95409

Wild Goat Bistro

Wild Goat Bistro is next on the list as one of the best Pizza Spots in Sonoma County. This charming restaurant offers a casual dining experience with a rustic atmosphere. They have the most delicious specialty Neapolitan style 10″ pizzas that are made from the freshest ingredients. Wit & Wisdom

Wit & Wisdom is a staple and one of my favorite spots to enjoy a fabulous dinner while in Sonoma County. Chef Micheal Mina, the amazing brains behind the tasty food, offers the tastiest wood-fired pizzas that I couldn’t recommend more. One must try pizza is their Carbonara Pizza which has crispy guanciale, Yukon gold potatoes, pecorino cheese and is topped with a poached egg. 1325 Broadway, Sonoma, CA 95476
