I have been fortunate to visit the breathtaking A Rafanelli Winery a few times over the years. This is a must-visit destination in the Healdsburg area for their amazing wines and hospitality. Discover more about My Visit to the Fabulous A Rafanelli Winery below.
The Team at A Rafanelli Winery
The team at this winery is what makes it so special. This family-owned winery is unique because of its lasting tradition in the Dry Creek Valley. They don’t necessarily put their attention towards the quantity but rather the quality of their wines. A Rafanelli specializes in some of the finest Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot. If their name rings a bell that’s because they are probably one of the most ADORED Wineries in Sonoma County. So much so that you must visit if you haven’t had the chance to yet….

One great part about visiting is I get to spend time with the lovely Shelly Rafanelli. Be sure to check out My Interview with Winemaker Shelly Rafanelli Shown is Shelly and her Frenchie Willie. We had hoped that Willie and my Frenchie Ernestine may hit it off, you can always try!
Did I mention this place was ALSO Dog-Friendly? Just another thing that makes it so special here. See more Sonoma Dog-Friendly Wineries to take your furry friends to here.
Touring A Rafanelli Winery
If you find yourself in the Healdsburg area, A Rafanelli Winery is one of the wineries you must visit. This winery has so much charm to it, with even more delicious wines. I was able to take my experience to the next level during my visit by seeing the caves.
There is even an opportunity for a special tasting in the caves surrounded by barrels and barrels of their amazing wine.
What an honor getting to be hosted by Winemaker Shelly Rafanelli during this tasting. She is the most approachable, sweetest and talented woman and it is such an honor to call her a friend.
Aside from exploring and learning from the best, the winery itself is also stunning. Definitely perfect weather and scenery for tasting!
Cheers to an amazing visit to A Rafanelli Winery, I cannot wait to come back already!
