Stinson Beach A Quick day-trip from San Francisco

Stinson Beach

People often ask what are some great day trips from San Francisco to neighboring parts of fabulous California? One of my favorites is from San Francisco to Stinson Beach. It’s about 45-60 minutes (depending what day/time you go) and there are various routes you can take each offering different beautiful scenery and stops along the way. I’d suggest the below itinerary which is what I did on my most recent visit with my Dad and his girlfriend Linda which was perfect. Also, be sure to plan to spend some time exploring Stinson Beach. It has a quaint charming town with a few restaurants to grab lunch or a bite at as well as fabulous beach surfers and swimmers love!  Read more about Stinson Beach DiningStinson Beach, California.

Regardless, do not rush as the drive is very windy and can be dangerous so be alert and whoever wants to take in the scenery and take pictures should not be driving!
