If you are a Foodie or someone looking for an over the top special occasion restaurant,Mozaic Restaurant Gastronomiquec (Mozaic) is the spot for you. It’s located in Ubud, Bali which every visitor to Bali must see during their stay. Once I started researching my trip to Bali I kept reading about Mozaic, known as the best restaurant in Bali. The owner trained with Thomas Keller, which most Americans, especially us Californians know means they have trained with the best.
I would recommend trying both of the tasting menus; Discovery & Chef’s Tasting so you are able to enjoy the various dishes and cuisines. One menu is more French and one is more Asian inspired. Overall, everything I tasted was delicious. My favorite dishes were the Poached Boston Lobster & The Slow Roasted Lamb. I also had the privilege of meeting the Executive Chef, Blake Thornley who was lovely. He gave us a tour of his experimental kitchen where he also hosts private events. It is always fun to get to know the brains behind the delicious meals you enjoy. Meeting Chef Blake was definitely a great way to end a fabulous evening with beyond delicious food, great company, in wonderful Bali. What a perfect night! Raya Sanggingan 80571 +62 361 975768 .
