For as long as I can remember I’ve been hearing about the incredible Nick’s Cove. I was told that Nick’s Cove was beyond beautiful, picturesque, like no where you had ever been. I knew this was a spot I MUST experience and you can imagine my excitement when I was invited to visit. With an upcoming summer visit from my Dad and his wife Linda, Nick’s Cove seemed the perfect destination for a little getaway weekend.
We started the weekend in Healdsburg, another one of my favorite spots in Sonoma then headed to Nick’s Cove. Upon arriving on a Sunday afternoon I began to understand the appeal. The picturesque Resort is located on Tomales Bay. If you were driving too fast or there was a lot of fog you could even miss the antique looking restaurant, also where the hotel check in is located.
Some of the other waterfront cottages. Beyond adorable!
Upon arriving we were taken to our cottage, Bandit’s Bungalow. This was the perfect two bedroom accommodations for two couples or a group of three like us.
My first impression of the cottages were that this can not be real. They have the most magical character, not to mention they are literally on the edge of the water with your deck suspending over the bay. The interior décor and details are incredible. There really is no detail missed. Between the adorable mini bar to the wood burning fire place to the heated bathroom floor. This is really one of the most luxurious yet rustic (in a summer camp yet feel), hotel experiences I have ever had. I mean that in a good way. So if you’re looking for an incredible destination either for a romantic get away or just with friends somewhere beautiful and picturesque, Nick’s Cove is the spot for you. 23240 CA-1, Marshall, CA 94940

Happy hour as we enjoyed our welcome cheese plate and some incredible Three Sticks Wine Pinot Noir from our afternoon tasting pre Nick’s Cove arrival.
Upon checking in you’re offered a welcome snack, either Oysters or a Cheese Plate. OMG, I love this place!
A huge thanks to Nick’s Cove for hosting me and my parents for this incredible stay.
