It’s hard to believe the holiday season is practically here after the year and a half we just had. It’s finally time to get ready to celebrate the holidays with our dearest family and friends. Bennett Lane Winery is known for their incredible Cabernet wines and their selection of 2016 Cabernets are a perfect choice for a Thanksgiving dinner. The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon has aromas of dark cherry, raspberry, and subtle notes of allspice and clove. On the palate the wine has rich flavors of cherry, dark chocolate and raspberry pie. With flavors of cherry, berry, and dark chocolate the 2016 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley is another great Bennett Lane choice. The 2018 Les Collines Vineyard Syrah from Grosgrain Vineyards has high toned notes of fresh blackberry, bay leaf, thyme, and dried violets and petrichor and the 2018 XL Vineyard Syrah is medium-plus bodied with smooth tannin and deep notes of blackberry liqueur, white pepper, rosemary and leather.
