Perched at the top of the village of Avize, the Hotel Restaurant Les Avisés opens its doors and bares its soul allowing for an experience of community and sincerity in an intimate, atypical setting where an edgy decor of styles and eras are harmoniously blended together.  With ten spacious rooms, the hotel offers you a choice of ambiance as each of its rooms is unique with it18s own special character and charm. Epernay, France. 

The hotel lobby has a lying room feel to it which I loved. I literally wanted to grab a book, sit down and get cozy and never leave. Especially after spending 4 hours enjoying the most beautiful champagnes I’ve ever experienced from Selosse.

Views of the restaurant where we enjoyed a spectacular lunch after our wine tasting with Anselme Selosse at the winery. I love how this spot has a view of the open kitchen so guests can watch the chef behind the scenes cooking.

Our delicious lunch which was a filet with roasted vegetables, more wine and home-made delicious bread.  What I loved about this hotel and restaurant was that you feel as if you’re in someone’s home it’s so intimate and personal.

The dessert was hands down my favorite dish from lunch. It was a chocolate mousse with roasted marshmallows and passion fruit. So so amazing!

Although I didn’t stay at the hotel (yet), the rooms look spectacular and I’m adding this hotel to bucket list I will dream of staying at during my next visit to Champagne or Epernay.
