Where to Eat in La Jolla California

La Valencia Mediterranean Room – We had a delicious brunch here. They offer a tasting menu for $35 or you can order a la carte which is what we did. They also offer bottomless Mimosa’s for just $10 (also the way to go!). I had the Cheeseburger which was pretty delicious, the fries were undercooked but I ate everything so not too many complaints here. 1132 Prospect Street. La Jolla, CA. 92037. 858-551-3744.

George’s California Modern at the Cove – This was hands down the best meal I’ve had in the past year.  Be sure to request a table with an ocean view and you’ll be able to take in the sunset (if you schedule the timing correctly) and enjoy the fabulous views. We tried almost everything here. Their appetizers were great we had the Halibut Ceviche, Grilled Octopus, Cold Broccoli Soup and the Fried Artichokes. I was most excited for the Fried Artichokes (one of my favorite veggies) and that was my least favorite. Definitely go sea food here. For Entrees we each had our own and I had the Vegetarian Gnocchi which was to die for.   I couldn’t have been happier with my selection.
