As you have seen over the years I adore Sarah and Michael Browne of CIRQ & CHEV Wines. I’ve been fortunate to attend their harvest for 2-3 seasons learning first hand from Michael and the team how they make their absolutely breathtaking wines. I’ve also hosted Instagram Lives with Michael and even my first winemaker dinner with him and the team at The Matheson. So you can imagine my excitement when I was able to visit their newly opened Winery / Estate to taste with Proprietors Sarah & Michael Browne with my sister jeannine in town visiting.

What an unforgettable visit to @cirqestate, where the warmth, hospitality and friendliness of Sarah and Michael Browne made the experience truly special. From a delicious @chev_wines Chardonnay welcome to a curated CHEV Pinot Noir tasting in the barrel room followed by a CIRQ Pinot in their tasting salon everything was beyond delicious, every moment was thoughtfully crafted and from the heat. The estate’s stunning setting was the perfect backdrop for savoring their exquisite Pinot Noir—can’t wait to return for more! 🍷❤️

If you haven’t been yet I highly recommend planning a visit. Be sure to tell them the JSF sent you, and you’ll fall in love with them too!

Thanks to @ChefsCycle, @NoKidHungry, and my amazing team Butcher, Baker Bottlers for all the support and encouragement on this first cycling challenge. What a magical 48 hours I’ve had hosting Melanie and Jarred, two of my oldest college friends. Melanie is a ChiOmega Sorority sister. I had such a blast showing them around some of my favorite places in Healdsburg, including Montage Healdsburg, Robert Young Winery, Diavola, Flowers Winery and Valette Restaurant, to name a few. It was truly soooooo special getting to show my Midwest friends my new 🏠 , I can’t wait to have more of my college pals visit and fall in ❤️ with Sonoma County as much as I have.

Just experienced the NEWLY launched Dry Creek Kitchen Studio Cellar Dining Experience, and it was an absolute culinary delight! 🍽️✨

Chef Charlie Palmer, Executive Chef Shane McAnelly, and Pastry Chef Taylor Kelley outdid themselves, creating an intimate, fun, and delicious meal paired perfectly with wines curated by Jon Macklem. 🍷

For groups of 6+ guests, this unique dining adventure is priced at $295 per person, including 7 exquisite courses, each with a fabulous wine pairing. This is perfect for special occasions, foodie gatherings, birthdays, or graduations! 🎉

I just returned from a fantastic stay at MacArthur

I just returned from a fantastic stay at MacArthur Place Hotel & Spa in downtown Sonoma! 🌿✨

From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the stunning six-acre estate with its intimate gardens, winding paths, and cozy fire pits. The luxurious guest rooms, featuring heated travertine floors and outdoor showers, made my stay incredibly comfortable. One of my top highlights was the perfectly refreshing pool, where a glass (or two) of Veuve Clicquot turned a fabulous afternoon into pure bliss. This luxury hotel is dog-friendly, and Ernie loved it just as much as I did! From the moment we arrived, she was pampered with her own dog bed, treats, and gifts, ensuring MacArthur Place pampers both pets and parents alike.

Daily breakfasts at Layla Restaurant, pool-side bites, and an incredible dinner showcased Layla’s excellent service, relaxing atmosphere, impressive wine list, and delightful team.

As if that wasn’t enough, I indulged in an afternoon at their newly renovated spa with a Hot Stone Massage, followed by a dip in the hot tub and then relaxing poolside in a cabana. The cabana experience includes a bottle of Veuve Clicquot and a delicious charcuterie board.
