When visiting Club Med Ixtapa Mexico come hungry and be prepared for Club Med Ixtapa Mexico’s Fabulous Food!! Keep in mind this is an all-inclusive resort with almost 900 guests visiting per week (in addition to their employees) but having travelled to various hotels and all-inclusive resorts I believe that Club Med may do the best job at the delicious cuisine they offer to their guests. How do they do it? Well for starters they offer a wide array of cuisines in their main dining room. There’s always a wide range of options offered at the buffet always including the below. In addition to the main dining room they have a few other restaurants that are more intimate where you can grab a late breakfast, late lunch (hours vary from the main cafe) and have a more intimate dinner experience (reservations needed). I like both the main restaurant and the smaller ones as the main has the largest options to choose from but the smaller restaurants are more intimate with some more unique dining options.

Breakfast: Fresh fruit, a salad bar, fresh omelette cooks station, a huge selection of freshly baked breaks in addition to various hot plate offerings (Pancakes, waffles, potatoes, bacon, sausages…)

Lunch: Similar to breakfast during lunch you’ll find various buffer stations as well as a delicious fresh salad bar where the chef makes each guest a custom salad.

Dinner: You probably guessed that all the buffet options will still be available. There’s also a different cuisine that’s the Chef’s Focus of the evening. For example, a Mexican night, Italian night, Seafood…. Take a look at some of the pictures and you’ll understand what I mean!

Desserts: For anyone with a sweet tooth you’ll be in heaven at Club Med. See from the various pictures of the dessert table and the daily offerings of sweets available. Everything I’ve ever had is delicious so it’s hard to go wrong!
