One of San Francisco’s newest cocktail additions is Last Rites located in Duboce Triangle (aka the Castro). This amazing new cocktail destination set in a repurposed airplane fuselage, provides an experiential narrative of being marooned in a dark tropical jungle. And, they have over 150 rums and a diverse selection of spirits, with inventive classics like the Last Rites Mai Tai, Avian Evolution, the Marine Layer, the Jock Lindsey & more. One of the newest cocktail destinations in the Mission is The Beehive from the team at The Treasury. Beehive has amazing cocktails, a super swanky modern setting and also great food such as amazing French Onion flavored Popcorn, French Fries, Deviled Eggs, Crudito… After opening just a few weeks ago The Beehive has quickly become my new go to for amazing cocktails, a super friendly team, and a chic setting you will not want to leave. 842 Valencia Street. The Snug SF
Fillmore Street has a new addition to the bar scene and it is incredible.The SNUG SF is making some of the best cocktails in Pac Heights with a lively scene, great cocktails and also a newly launched brunch I also adore! 2301 Fillmore St, San Francisco, CA 94115.

An oldie but goodie that should be on any cocktail list is Trick Dog. Located in the Mission, just around the corner from another favorite, True Laurel this is a staple for amazing drinks, a lively scene and great food!
Honestly, Starbelly is one of my favorite go to’s in The Castro. It’s a staple I recommend for both their amazing food and their cocktails. Be sure to go on a nice day and take advantage of their great back yard where you can brunch, dine and just have fun and enjoy! 3853 16th Street, San Francisco.
Those of you Gin lovers like me, Whitechapel is sure to be your jam! The decor and set up is exquisite, you feel as if you’re in Grand Central in New York City. And the cocktails, just as stunning. I met the Chef while I visited and toured the kitchen which was fun and of course got a chance to try their yummy eats! 600 Polk Street, San Francisco.
Palmers Tavern is my go-to spot for some of the Best San Francisco Cocktails on Fillmore Street in addition to the newly opened Snug of course! They have an old school swanky bar feel with great outdoor seating along Fillmore Street. Novela is a great bar located downtown on Mission Street with incredible cocktails. It has a lively happy hour and after work scene and is great!! 662 Mission Street, San Francisco.
Another Market Street Bar that’s great is Blackbird located in the Castro. Every visit here it’s bumping with a lively scene, amazing cocktails and a fun time. 2124 Market St, San Francisco.
Another fabulous downtown gem is Mourad. You may think of this only as a culinary hot spot but that’s not the case. Maven is one of those Bars that unless you know about, you probably have not been (it’s hard to find these fabulous gems). It’s in the Haight and is my favorite Restaurant/Bar in the area.
