Recently I had the pleasure of experiencing a facial at Turning Point Spa located in Mill Valley. Upon arriving guests are welcomed to this relaxed setting. Turning Point Spa is super intimate so you really feel as if you’re the only guest being seen during your visit. In my case I was, which just adds to the luxury of Laurence’s hands on care.

The scores of my face from the machine test. In all the facials I’ve done I never had this testing done and it was incredible. It would say by area of the face the dryness level, moisture, balance…. Apparently I’m quite dry and she suggested adding more oily foods to my diet, also using oil as a moisturizer (which I do occasionally).  This was the most thorough facial I’ve ever had. Laurence truly is a magician as she used this to determine which treatments to offer me. I ended up getting the LED Light Treatment and also an anti aging mask. After both my face felt soft, rejuvenated and way further moisturized that before.

The LED Light Treatment which takes about 15 – 20 minutes all over the face. This makes a little noise which actually was relaxing I took a little snooze during this part of the treatment.

Post treatment I’m glowing. It’s pretty crazy all of my sun spots seem to have faded. I felt great!

One of the loveliest touches about the treatment was after Laurence made a cup of tea for us both and we sat in the reception area and rehydrated while chatting over tea!
