If you’re heading to the beautiful wine region of Santa Barbara, you must visit the Biltmore Four Seasons Santa Barbara. This is another iconic hotel with a ton of history and character. Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa
Any Wine Country Trip would not be complete without a stop in Sonoma. This is the more relaxed side to Northern California’s Wine Country in contrast to Napa. I have visited the Sonoma Fairmont Mission Inn & Spa a few times and each time has been a treat. Claremont Hotel Berkeley
The Claremont Hotel Berkeley & Spa, is one of the most iconic, historic hotels on this list. Located in Berkeley, this hotel that recently underwent a magnificent renovation now bolstering a stunning modern lobby with bright windows showcasing The Bay views. They also have two restaurants, Limewood Restaurant and The Meritage Restaurant. In addition, they have a Spa which includes an outdoor pool and gym which many locals enjoy as members of the gym. Four Seasons San Francisco
The Four Seasons San Francisco is one of the most luxurious hotels in San Francisco. It’s located on Market Street, a great downtown location. The rooms at this Four Seasons are also amazing. I had a suite with a living room, bedroom and bathroom so plenty of space to spread out and really relax in this luxurious setting. Nick’s Cove
One of most relaxing, remote, yet luxurious resorts on California’s Coast is Nick’s Cove. This is about a half an hour north of San Francisco with some of the best views! What’s special about Nick’s Cove is their waterfront location and the beyond charming and unique guest cottages. During my visit we stayed in a two-bedroom cottage and enjoyed dinner at their incredible Nick’s Cove Restaurant.
