As you can tell I love any area of Wine Country with great experiences, delicious wine, and awesome people to meet. Happy Napa Dining.
The French Laundry
It’s pretty obvious that The French Laundry would be on my Best Restaurants in Napa list. However, it wasn’t until the Spring of 2018 I had the chance to go and it was incredible. I had such a lovely visit that I did not take as many pictures as usual but let me say it’s as amazing as expected and something every foodie must experience at least once. I am already looking for another occasion to go back again! 6640 Washington St, Yountville, CA 94599
Auberge du Soleil Napa Valley
Auberge do Soleil is hands down, one of the top three luxury meals I’ve ever enjoyed in California. You’re probably curious where the other two were; those were at The French Laundry and Single Thread. What set apart this meal from many others, aside from the magnificent Michelin star food, was the genuine and thoughtful service. Between our lovely welcome glasses of sparkling wine and hand-written notes, to the surprise wine pairing we were treated to with our meal, everything was top notch.
Another detail I appreciated was when our server adjusted our wine pairings to accommodate each of our personal wine preferences (rather than having us share the same pairings). Interestingly, she based our parings on what she learned about us as we chatted between courses. It can be difficult to describe seamless, luxurious service because if they’re doing it well you don’t notice it most of the time. The Auberge do Soleil team are experts at creating a fabulous dining experience for their guests in one of the most memorable Napa Restaurants. Be sure to check it out when you’re making your next Napa Valley Dining plans. Read my full Auberge du Soliel post here about my lovely visit. 180 Rutherford Hill Rd, Rutherford, CA 94573
The stunning views from our table of the Auberge du Soleil Resort & Spa.
A warm welcome with a glass of Sparkling Wines and a thoughtful welcome note. Seriously, hand written notes get me every time they’re so thoughtful and yet so rare these days.
The delicious Scallop starter.
Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch
Another Napa must-visit is Farmstead Restaurant at Long Meadow Ranch. Long Meadow Ranch not only has the Farmstead Restaurant, but they also have gardens on-site as well as a vintage farmhouse where they offer amazing Chef’s Dinners in an intimate setting with 6-8 guests. During my visit, I experienced this Chef’s Table dinner and it was great. The food was delicious, paired with the Long Meadow Ranch Wines it was perfection! 738 Main St, St Helena, CA.

Sky & Vine by Charlie Palmer at Archer Hotel
Another favorite restaurant in Napa is the NEW Sky & Vine Rooftop restaurant by Charlie Palmer at the Archer Hotel. This has the most amazing rooftop deck with incredible views of Napa, plenty of seating for both sit down dining or drinks on the terrace. If you are craving a steak, steps away is Charlie Palmer Steak also located in Archer Hotel. Read more about Charlie Palmer Steak and my amazing meal here. 1230 1st St, Napa, CA 94559
Charlie Palmer Steak at Archer Hotel
This is another of the best Napa Restaurants that I’ve tried. Located within the new Archer Hotel is Charlie Palmer Steak. This restaurant is extremely beautiful and located in Archer Hotel’s lobby. Also, it has the amazing culinary assortment that Chef Charlie Palmer and his team deliver so well in their restaurants. I visited for dinner and was impressed with the delicious steak, creative sides, and of course their yummy desserts. I typically am not a dessert person but be sure to save room for dessert at Charlie Palmer Steak! Read the full blog post about Charlie Palmer Steak here. 1230 1st St, Napa, CA 94559
Chef Charlie Palmer
My favorite dessert from my visit. I learned this is also Chef Charlie Palmer’s favorite dessert, great minds do think alike!
The Acacia House at Las Alcobas Napa Valley
A newer addition to all the Napa Restaurants is the Acacia House located at the Las Alcobas Hotel in St. Helena. Naturally, I visited both the hotel and the restaurant in September and had a fabulous stay. I dined at The Acacia House for brunch, lunch, and dinner so really after having every meal they offer with them I can attend it’s fabulous. Chef Chris Costentino is leading the Culinary program and an industry pal, Michael Ploetz is running the restaurant. Basically, it’s incredible. With delicious food and a great wine list, you’ll have a hard time deciding what to choose from. Overall, this is a stunning setting I suggest you hurry in to experience. The incredible brunch I enjoyed at The Acacia House on their beautiful victorian wrap around porch. Amazing setting, delicious food, and fabulous service. Basically, one of my favorite Napa Restaurants.
The beautiful interior of The Acacia House Restaurant. It is so intimate it feels like you’re dining in someone’s home, unlike some Napa Restaurants that lack that familiar feel to it.
The Solage Hotel Solbar
The best hotel dining in Calistoga. This is one of the Napa Restaurants you won’t want to miss! The Solage’s Solbar. With both indoor and outdoor seating, the Solbar is a great Calistoga Restaurant not to be missed! 755 Silverado Trail, Calistoga, California 94515.
