Best Wineries & Tasting Rooms in Downtown Sonoma

You can’t have a Sonoma County experience without the abundance of delicious wines to go with it. With the huge selection of wineries and tasting rooms that Sonoma has to offer, I wanted to make it easy on all you wine connoisseurs with my guide to the Best Wineries & Tasting Rooms in the heart of downtown Sonoma. Each winery is so beautiful, unique, and just divine.

Auteur Wines

First on the list as one of the Best Wineries and Tasting Rooms in Downtown Sonoma is of course the amazing Auteur Wines. Their tasting room provides a wonderful guided experience by wine experts. You are also provided with a fabulous selection of coastal wines and single vineyard options. Not only is the wine fabulous, but the little bungalow that Auteur sits in is just adorable. 373 1st St W, Sonoma, CA 95476

Enoteca Della Santina

Did someone say wine bar AND Italian food? Count me in! Enoteca Della Santina is a must-visit while in Downtown Sonoma where the true Tuscan feel can transport you to the heart of Italy. Not only is the ambiance of Enoteca Della Santina stunning, but the wines and bites are delicious. The Olive Oils and Balsamic Vinegars at Della Santina are my absolute favorite and my go-to. I also recommend trying the farm-to-table Italian at your visit as well! 127 E Napa St, Sonoma, CA 95476

Can we talk about how wine and charcuterie are just the power duo. I mean, they just go perfect together!

Hawkes Wine

Another fantastic winery and tasting room in downtown Sonoma is Hawkes Wine. Located just off the plaza, Hawkes Wine holds an indoor and outdoor wine tasting area. The little bungalow for tasting could not be more adorable and relaxing. Guests are able to taste the four wines of Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and a Cabernet while being able to enjoy the beautiful nature surrounding them! Kamen Estate Wines

A modern, chic and clean feel along with fabulous wines make Kamen Estate Wines in downtown Sonoma another must-visit. With a tasting room open to the public daily, visitors are able to enjoy flights of Kamen Estate Wines whenever you please. After your tasting in downtown Sonoma, Kamen Estate Wines has another tasting experience located at their mountain vineyard that is also wonderful. 111B E Napa St, Sonoma, CA 95476

Pangloss Cellars

Pangloss Cellars is another fantastic tasting room for all my wine lovers out there. I had a fabulous time trying the selection of wines along with tasty food to go with it! I loved the Pangloss Pinot Noir, Cabernet, and Chenin Blanc and highly recommend these three at your tasting! With two fantastic tasting experiences, Pangloss is sure to be an incredible time. Sojourn Cellars

Sojourn Cellars is another amazing stop that I recommend all wine lovers visit while in downtown Sonoma! Their tasting room offers a seated experience and many wines to go with it. The Sojourn Pinot, Cabernet, and Chardonnay are fantastic. After your time at Sojourn, make sure to stop by the restaurants and boutiques that are just down the road. 141 E Napa St, Sonoma, CA 95476

Sosie Wines

Sosie Wines has just opened in downtown Sonoma and I couldn’t be more in love with the decor and wine. The adorable light pink exterior and outside patio are incredibly inviting! I also couldn’t be more in love with their wine that is inspired by France. The winemakers of Sosie have traveled to France for years to perfect their craft, and I can say they have done just that!  25 E Napa St Suite C, Sonoma, CA 95476

Texture Wines

Floor to ceiling full of wine bottles is a site to see at Texture Wines in downtown Sonoma along with a rustic and open interior. Texture Wines is not your average tasting room and winery as they specialize in crafting the world’s best Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. That being said, Texture wines is definitely one to visit while in downtown Sonoma as they offer fabulous small-bites prepared by the executive chef that perfectly compliments each wine! 35 E Napa St Sonoma, CA 95476

Three Sticks Wines

As you all know, I love when I can bring along my adorable furry friend Ernestine while I visit and taste the wonderful flavors of California wine, so, Three Sticks Wines in Sonoma was one of those places where Ernie came along to wine and dine AND the Wines, the hospitality experience and the stunning setting (designed by Ken Fulk) is just perfection! The Three Sticks Wines tasting room holds a beautiful outside patio where I enjoyed a selection of five wines along with a charcuterie board (yum)! 143 W Spain St, Sonoma, CA 95476

Walt Wines

Make sure to stop at Walt Wines so that you can taste the fantastic Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines crafted at vineyards along the Pacific Coast. Located in a beautiful historic house, Walt Wines offers a comforting and relaxing tasting experience.
