The divine dining options are endless in this amazing food city, but there is a new place on the block that I am a huge fan of. Don’t wait another minute to get your ticket and reservation for the brand new San Francisco restaurant Cadence! 1446 Market Street, San Francisco, CA 94103.

The ticket: Another way Cadence is setting themselves apart from your typical restaurant is the advance ticket purchase. The way that guests can reserve a seat for the prix fixe menu is by purchasing a ticket when the reservation is made. In conjunction, the restaurant has communal tables and the bar where they serve a la carte menu with delicious dishes. To make sure you receive the “golden ticket,” make your reservation here!

From the ground or from the land & sea: The prix fixe menu for $49, provides two menu options that each include four decadent courses. Cadence definitely has a unique take on the menu as guests can choose from either the In The Ground Or From The Stem option or the Above The Ground Or From The Water choice.

I love the paper menu detail it opens up as if it’s an invite. So classy and elegant!

What is  the Ground and Stem option? The ground and stem menu includes divine roasted baby carrots with redeye syrup, a luxurious fettuccine that melts in your mouth, gorgeous roasted beets, and the grande finale is a vanilla banana pudding that will keep you coming back for more.

The adorable surprise soup we started with. I’m in LOVE with this adorable tea cup. So unexpected yet cozy, it doesn’t feel like sterile restaurant serving wear you see so frequently

Drinks that are works of art: The cocktails are truly works of art, and the perfectly married flavors are unique and exquisite! The options are so exceptional that it was definitely hard to decide. When the Shaddock was suggested to me, I was excited to see how the grapefruit flavor would be presented. Let me tell you, I will definitely be going back to Cadence to have another very soon!

What about the Water Menu?  On the flip side, the ground and water menu starts out with a smooth sturgeon with soft cooked eggs, followed by perfectly crisp brussels sprouts, then the show stopping ribeye with roasted sunchokes, and wraps up with chocolate cremeux and passion fruit sherbet. I highly suggest you go with someone else so you can each try one of the prix fixe options and enjoy all of the dishes!

The Hand-cut Fettucine which was incredible. I’m not usually a Fettucine lover and this was not too creamy and heavy, just a perfect balance of light cream yet rich flavor. I could have had seconds easily!

I went to get a well lit shot of the Rib-Eye and found Chef Joey! Pretty amazing to get to visit with him on pre opening night.

What do you recommend pairing with the amazing food? Well, something else that the restaurant is doing differently that proves they are progressive, is that each menu has optional beverage pairings that will take each diner’s taste buds through a memorable experience.
