You’re guaranteed to have a beautiful and luxurious stay when visiting The Stavrand Hotel in Guerneville. Located in the Russian River Valley, there is so much to do in the area such as wine tasting (of course, you do know I can’t visit a region without wine tasting), hiking, and also floating on the Russian River.

Upon arriving you’re greeted by luscious greenery and bright colors of nature and the hotel. This hotel is so unique and a perfect hidden gem in the area.

The Rooms at the Stavrand Hotel

The rooms at the Stavrand Hotel are gorgeous, recently remodeled with modern elegance and a fresh contemporary twist. The rooms vary on your needs, some including an entire fireplace, bathtub, and living space. It feels like a home away from home that you won’t want to leave…

Some of the rooms have soaking tubs like this gorgeous one above. Sadly my room did not but just another reason I need to return back for another visit! 

I know Ernestine loved enjoying the stay with us… Another perk about this amazing Hotel, is they are super dog friendly!

The room includes some travel essentials including snacks, Tylenol and a bottle opener. The thoughtful amenities available for purchase at The Stavrand Hotel are lovely and really enhance the visit. There’s nothing worse than forgetting to pack snacks and hotels not having any goodies for guests to enjoy.

Another amenity offered for guests is a happy hour from 5:00 – 6:00pm where Wine, beer and spirits are served.  Robert and I enjoyed a Gin & Tonic which was perfect by the pool on a hot summer day!

Also, be sure to relax and enjoy the fresh air as you sit outside surrounded by the beautiful scenic area.

The Stavrand Hotel Grounds

There is plenty of stuff to do at the Stavrand Hotel during your stay including Wine Tasting, hiking, exploring town or floating nearby on the Russian River. Sonoma County truly has it all and there is something for everyone! 

Inclusive Breakfast for Guests

There is something about a complimentary breakfast that I love! I think because it makes you feel like the stay is continuing and you get to have a lovely hearty meal before starting your day whether heading home or heading out on an adventure. The Stavrand Hotel Restaurant is beyond charming with fireplaces and a very Scandinavian-esque atmosphere and lovely friendly service.  I highly recommend trying their avocado toast for breakfast as well!

They even lay out supplies for the perfect s’mores to enjoy at night!
