The gorgeous views of the Chicago River from the Restaurant

What’s the setting and decor like: The restaurant is GORGEOUS. Between the picturesque Chicago River views to the amazing Interior Design (Kudos to the Interior Designer) it’s so spectacular I could see myself going for lunch, writing at the bar through the afternoon then staying for dinner. It’s truly one of the brightest, coolest, yet warmest restaurants I have been in a while. I love it!
What are the details of Community Night Dinners: Dinner cost $35 per person (non-inclusive of beverages, tax + gratuity). Dinner is served at 7PM with limited space and reservations required. For more information and reservations, please call The Kitchen Chicago at 312.836.1300.
What to Eat at The Kitchen: From what I experienced, everything. Seriously the food was wonderful. I went with a friend Rachel and neither one of us was too hungry so we shared two appetizers, shared the King Crab Legs, and each had a soup. This was the perfect assortment for two and we loved everything!
Our appetizers which included a Spiced Eggplant and Goat Gouda Gougeres. Both were great and a nice pairing together since the Gouda was fairly sweet and the Eggplant had a nice spicey kick to it.
The King Crab Legs Platter which was as delicious as it looks!
The wonderful Cauliflower Soup. This was very rich and creamy and was fabulous with a light white wine. Perfect lunch if you’re not too hungry.
