Healdsburg is home to some incredible cuisine, but families can sometimes struggle to navigate what’s actually kid-friendly in wine country. The good news? You don’t need to leave the little ones behind to enjoy a great meal and memorable experience. Follow along for the best kid-friendly restaurants in Healdsburg.
Agave Restaurant
Agave Restaurant is a staple here in the Healdsburg area. They serve Mexican and regional Oaxacan food that is delicious. They have both indoor and outdoor seating at their patio for you to enjoy the food. Also, be sure to check out their wide tequila section! Acorn Cafe
Acorn Cafe in Healdsburg is a charming and cozy newer spot in the area offering a menu filled with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Known for its delicious breakfast and lunch options, the cafe serves a variety of sandwiches, salads, and baked goods that highlight seasonal flavors. This is very kid-friendly with both dining available inside and outside on the patio. Acre Pizza
The award-winning Acre Pizza honors the tradition of East Coast and Detroit style pizzas and salads. As an East Coast native, I love stopping by this spot to soak in all of their flavors and fresh ingredients. They also have a great selection of local beer, wine, and ciders, to go with their food. 44 Mill St, Healdsburg, CA 95448


The Burrow
The Burrow, is an exciting new addition to the Healdsburg culinary scene, offering a cozy cafe vibe with seriously delicious food. If you’re stopping by, you absolutely have to try their chopped salad along with their smash burger—it’s quickly becoming legendary among locals and visitors alike! 22 Matheson St, Healdsburg, CA 95448


Costeaux French Bakery
Costeaux French Bakery has a delightful selection of all-day breakfast items such as omelets, quiches, and sandwiches to choose from. I recommend their artisan bread, soups, and signature desserts. This French-style bakery is truly a Healdsburg gem and perfect to carry out for any picnic lunch or stay and dine in! 417 Healdsburg Ave, Healdsburg, CA 95448.

Healdsburg Bar & Grill
Awarded Food and Wine Magazine’s 2018 list of “Best Burgers in the U.S.,” you’re going to have to try Healdsburg Bar and Grill’s Burgers. They have so many delicious burgers on their menu, but their Salmon Pita Burger is so tasty! 245 Healdsburg Ave, Healdsburg, CA 95448

The Healdsburg Avenue location of Healdsburg Bar & Grill. Best location they also have a huge outdoor patio great for dining with kids, pets and just enjoying a great day outside in downtown Healdsburg.

Healdsburger
At Healdsburger you can get some fresh delicious food in the Healdsburg area. They have a variety of awesome burgers to choose from like the Buffalo Cheese Burger, Lamb Burger with Feta Cheese and Grilled Onions, the Teriyaki Burger, and so many more. Or if none of these satisfy all your taste buds, you can build your own at Healdsburger!
Iggy’s Burger
Another great spot that kids love which is super kid-friendly is Iggy’s Burger. They have great burgers, also an ice cream shop attached so you can eat then gets sweets on your way out.

KINsmoke
The “Art of Barbecue,” is truly shown through KINsmoke’s delicious burgers. These half-pound burgers will be sure to fill you up, and satisfy your tastebuds. Make sure to save room before heading over to KINsmoke because you’ll want to enjoy every taste. 304 Center St, Healdsburg, CA 95448

Lo & Behold
Lo & Behold is a new local hotspot that opened in 2022 and is amazing. This is a great brunch spot because it is a super laid-back and fun atmosphere. Expect great cocktails, yummy bites, and the spot to be in downtown Healdsburg. I recommend the Fried Chicken and Queso Dip (with extra potatoes you’ll want more). 214 Healdsburg Ave, Healdsburg, CA 95448.

Parish Cafe
An adored restaurant in town is Parish Cafe featuring NOLA Cuisine, a casual family-friendly setting both indoor and outdoor seating. This is great for kids, adults and families! Whether you’re craving Southern comfort food with a creative twist or just want a delicious meal in a welcoming atmosphere, The Parish Cafe delivers.

Pizzando
Overlooking historic Healdsburg plaza, Pizzando is a lively spot serving wood oven pizzas, house-made pastas, grilled meats, fish, and seasonal appetizers. Roof 106 at The Matheson
The Matheson Healdsburg is a tri-level restaurant that reflects the spirit of Healdsburg. My dear friend, the fabulous Chef Dustin Valette, and partner Craig Ramsey are the ones behind this new hot spot. The Matheson honors Dustin’s great-grandfather who had a bakery on the Matheson site in the 1930s. You’re in great hands at the Matheson with their delicious menu made from locally sourced products, craft cocktails, sushi bar, and garden lounge.
