Dubrovnik Croatia Top 10 Sights
During the Spring of 2015 I had the privilege of joining a dear friend Katherine (yes the same Katherine I’ve been to South America with, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam amongst many other places) on a three week adventure. We visited Croatia (read more about my Croatia travels here) and Morocco (read more about my Morocco travels here) both two amazing places I recommend you check out as well. One of my most favorite spots in Croatia is Dubrovnik. See more about this historic beautiful destination and some of my favorite memories of the visit here.
Why visit Dubrovnik: Dubrovnik Croatia is an extremely charming, beautiful coastal town in Croatia. It has a ton of fabulous architecture (which you’ll see below) and is a must see on any Croatia trip.
The streets of Dubrovnik. They are so beautiful it almost looks fake but it’s not it’s quite historic
Rooftop views of the city overlooking the ocean
The port where you can catch boat trips to local islands or take in the beautiful views
Sponza Palace
The Big Fountain of Onofrio
The gorgeous view of the city walls as you’re outside of the old city. I recommend staying in the old city as you really get to enjoy and experience the historic city and all of it’s gorgeous architecture, history and charm.
Views of the city from the city walls. I recommend you take the city walls tour which gives you amazing views and you can learn more about this city’s fascinating history.
Dubrovnik at night. It’s just as beautiful if not more with the white stone and the gorgeous light shining on it
Good night Dubrovnik. Until we meet again (hopefully very soon), thanks for having me to your beautiful city I loved it!
