This New Year’s I visited Uruguay and had such an amazing time in the country. From the great restaurants, to the lovely hotels I stayed in, this trip was a real treat. Hotel Montevideo which had JUST opened prior to our stay, was one of a kind boutique hotel and one of the highlights of the trip. Follow along below to see My Stay at Hotel Montevideo in Uruguay.

Hotel Montevideo
Hotel Montevideo Uruguay is a modern, chic boutique hotel that gives the culture of the city in a modern way. As soon as you enter the lobby you are greeted with vibrant color and unique design and decor. The rooms were a balance of modern with a twist with cozy details in the wall paper and a stunning bathroom I loved. Jose Benito Lamas 2901, Montevideo, Uruguay
Beautiful Rooms
The rooms at Hotel Montevideo are beautiful with stunning views of the city. They are wide and spacious and have many different rooms to choose from. Whether you’re in a family room, deluxe, or suite, you’re definitely in for a special treat during your stay.
I love the white marble bathroom with gold. This is my favorite color combo in interior design.
This was the cutest little bar in our room. It had antique looking wallpaper and the most charming cocktail glasses and such! Adorable.
Rooftop Pool
One of the leading features at this hotel is their famous rooftop pool. Enjoy views of the city while soaking up sun and relaxing above it all.
Another great amenity they have here is a fitness center.
Polo Bamba Bar & Restaurant
Also be sure to stop by the Polo Bamba Restaurant or Polo Bamba bar for some great food and drinks. The bar here has stunning night views of the city that you must see for yourself. As a hotel guest they have a fabulous breakfast/brunch which we loved! In all of the hotels we stayed at in Uruguay they all included breakfast which was always extremely hearty and great portions.
There is a bar on the rooftop which has stunning views and also the pool. We celebrated New Years Eve up here enjoying fireworks over the water and champagne which was heavenly!
