California: Napa Where To Stay

Where to Stay in Napa California

Andaz Hotel Napa – If you find yourself looking for a conveniently located, high-end hotel in Napa California with a cool hip scene this is the spot for you. It was my first time staying at an Andaz Hotel and I’m happy to say it won’t be my last. This is huge news as you’ve read I’m a die-hard Starwood Hotel Loyalist however, my delightful experience at the Andaz Napa reminded me there are other great hotel groups doing great things. The first thing the Andaz Hotel did right was their pleasant greeting with a glass of wine.  Seems fitting in Wine Country, right? Shockingly, this was my first time staying in Wine Country where I experienced this lovely gesture. Point #1 for the Andaz! Next, we were told we’d been upgraded to the Top Floor, courtesy of our Visa Signature Reservation.  Point #2 for the Andaz as well as a thank you to Visa. We were pleasantly surprised to find a nice size room with two king beds and a cool new modern bathroom. On top of that we were told the drinks in the mini bar (except alcohol) AND Snacks were complimentary. Point #3. Wow, in all the hotels I’ve stayed in I’ve never heard of a complimentary mini bar. It really is the little things that make the difference. As if our day couldn’t get any better we decided to have a pre-dinner cocktail in the Lobby Bar, Mercantile Social. This was a perfect way to wrap up a great day of wine tasting and begin our evening of a Birthday Celebration and showing my dear friend Lindsay (aka The LunchBelle) how fabulous Wine Country is.  Another perk of our Visa Signature Reservation was the $25 Drink Voucher put towards our cocktails. 1450 First Street, Napa, California, USA, 94559. 707 687 1234.
