The Paris Dining Guide For Foodies

Frenchie

Frenchie is one of the most iconic and adored restaurants in Paris. I’ve been once and it was one of those charming spots that I want to return to every time I’m in Paris. The service is spectacular, the setting charming and the food & wine was perfection. Read my full Frenchie blog post here.

Frenchie Bar a Vins

Frenchie Wine Bar (Frenchie Bar a Vins) was a Restaurant that came up repeatedly when I told friends I was heading to Paris was.  After visiting, I quickly saw why. This charming French Wine Bar has an atmosphere that feels so intimate and makes you want to snag a table, grab a glass of wine, enjoy their delicious food and never leave… I did exactly that. I arrived around 6pm on a Saturday evening (note they do NOT take reservations so plan to wait or come early to beat the rush) and was lucky to snag a seat at the bar (the only seat I should mention). Not only was the setting beyond adorable, so was the friendly, knowledgeable staff and of course the delicious food impressed me as well.  6 Rue du Nil, 75002 Paris, France

David Toutain

One of my favorite culinary highlights of any Paris visit is experiencing David TOUTAIN. David TOUTAIN is a Michelin Star restaurant I dined at enjoying their fabulous 11-course lunch. The restaurant is led by Chef & Owner David Toutain and his wife Thai.

I want to reiterate that any foodies heading to Paris must visit and experience this delicious dining experience with over the top refined hospitality in an intimate setting that is elegant, yet not stuffy. Read my full blog post sharing more about this fabulous restaurant here.  29 Rue Surcouf, 75007 Paris, France.

Pink Mamma Trattoria

One of the hottest restaurants in Paris at the moment is Big Mamma who’s a part of the Big Mamma Restaurant Group.  They don’t take any reservations and we visited on a Monday and had a 1.5 hour wait to give you an idea of how popular it is…. The food was great, extremely authentic Italian, great Italian wines and a lively scene you won’t want to miss.  As you wait for your table grab a cocktail downstairs at their No Entry Secret cocktail lounge. The cocktails are phenomenal which helps the lengthy wait pass quickly. 20 bis, Rue de Douai, 75009 Paris
