Talk about exciting news! The Flamingo Resort located in Santa Rosa, California has just re-vamped its dining options by introducing the new and delicious Lazeaway Club for guests to enjoy. I was one of the very lucky people who got to taste the divine well-rounded menu before opening, and wow is this new restaurant fantastic! The Lazeaway Club has been added to the Flamingo hotel in addition to the Wild Bird Restaurant that sits near the pool scene. I knew I would absolutely love the Lazeaway Club because my experience at the Wild Bird was divine. I tasted one of the best Fried Chicken Sandwiches in Sonoma County at Wild Bird. Okay, now back to The Lazeaway Club. It is just a fabulous dining experience. From the cool swanky ambiance of the modern, chic, and colorful hotel vibe, to the bountiful flavors in the food, I left completely satisfied and ready to return for the public opening.
As you drive up to the hotel you are met with the most adorable outside sign and decor. The flamingo on top and the bright colors were just too cute.
The Flamingo Hotel delivers with it’s vibrant colors and playful decor. All the little pieces were beautiful and it made me feel as though I was transported to a dream vacation getaway. I loved nothing more than this chic vibe and I could not wait to eat at The Lazeaway Club.
The Lazeaway is for sure a place to get away. I adored how the restaurant overlooked the fabulous pool through the ceiling to floor glass windows. It created such an open, inviting and bright area! Be sure to start your visit with a cocktail, their mixologist team is spectacular evident in the unique, well done and balanced drinks.

The inside is just fabulous, but so is the food. I ate a delicious meal starting off with the Scallion Pancake with Trio of Dips and the Lazeaway Chopped Salad These are a must try! The Lazeaway Club hopes to bring the flavors of the Pacific and I can say they did just that! Each bite delivered with the immense flavor and freshness. I can’t wait to come back and try more.
Shout out to the culinary team and Executive Chef Sergio Morales for creating such fabulous dishes at this new restaurant.
Make sure to save room for dessert! While you may want to try everything on the menu (as I did), you must dabble into the special treats. They paired just perfectly with a glass of wine.
Be sure to get out to the Lazeaway Club to try out the fantastic area, food and drinks that they have to offer. I know I will be back…see you there!
