Packing up for my weekend getaway to Healdsburg and my upcoming stay at h2hotel.

Farewell San Francisco, hello Healdsburg. Here I come…

Driving across the Golden Gate Bridge is always a happy view for me. I’m either thrilled to be leaving town for a weekend in Wine Country (9 times out of 10) or am thrilled as I head home from a long weekend and am welcomed with this view! I truly love life in San Francisco and am LOVING driving this incredible Lexus LS 500 Sport.  It’s so smooth, sporty, and sleek with so many amenities for the driver to enjoy!

I always find the drive to wine country just as beautiful as my time in wine country. This weekend I partnered with Lexus to try out  their new 2018 LS 500 Sport. This was a 4-door sedan but drove like a sports coupe and was incredible. Super fast and smooth hugging the road and giving the driver the thrills of a race car experience.

Driving through beautiful Healdsburg on West Side Road en route to h2hotel. This is one of my favorite bridges in the area, it’s beyond charming and so cool and I finally got the chance to stop for a photo shoot.

Arriving to h2hotel for my stay. I am so excited to finally be visiting this hotel. I’ve heard such great things and it’s literally steps away from the Healdsburg square, so centrally located.

Arriving to my room. I love it, so spacious yet also feels so homey and a place I will want to crawl in bed and never leave!

I love the relaxed vibe of the rooms and also the great desk. It’s very rare that I can travel and am not working so I appreciated this little touch.

The hotel welcomes guests with yummy snacks, a bottle of wine and some chocolates. It really is these small touches that I notice as a guest and make a visit that much more memorable and enjoyable.

The first thing I did upon arriving and settling into my room was put on the TV and enjoy some of the Winter Olympics. Sometimes during my weekends away I’m so jammed with winery and restaurant visits I forget to stop and enjoy the beautiful hotel. I was so happy to have a few hours to relax in this lovely room at h2hotel before dinner downstairs at Spoonbar.  Read more about Spoonbar on my Top 10 Healdsburg Restaurant post here.

The delicious breakfast spread I enjoyed before checking out. I love it that breakfast is complimentary for hotel guests with your stay. And this was quite a spread I ordered an omelette and bacon and helped myself to the extensive spread of pastries, yogurt and other options on the buffet. This is the best hotel breakfast I’ve experienced in Healdsburg. Kudos to the Spoonbar team.
