All smiles with gorgeous views like these!
The fire pit with ocean views was probably my favorite spot to relax at this hotel. I can’t think of a more beautiful setting and a fun way to meet other guests at this wonderful hotel.
During my stay I was training for Chef’s Cycle benefitting No Kid Hungry (where I was one of 100 riders that rode up to 100 miles a day in Sonoma Country). Training on a Peloton during this visit was heavenly, it’s great when a hotel has a nice gym guests can enjoy.
Dining at Timber Cove
Dining at the resort is a wonderful homage to the Sonoma Coast. The Coast Kitchen offers dishes crafted from locally sourced ingredients. We were able to have fresh seafood, artisanal cheeses, and organic produce while enjoying the ocean views. We also ate at the bar one night in the main lodge which was amazing.
Whether you’re having breakfast, lunch, dinner, or drinks, this resort has a variety of great options to try! With our reservation we enjoyed complimentary breakfast which was delicious. Hard to beat this spread and the gorgeous Sonoma Coast views.
Dinner with Chef Dustin Valette
One of the reasons fo rmy visit in addition to visiting Timber Cove which had been on my bucket list for years, was also to support my pal Chef Dustin Valette during this culinary experience (He was a visiting chef doing a 5 day visit / takeover). The menu (shown below) reflected his personal dedication to innovation and culinary excellence. This special event was an unforgettable experience that truly celebrated the vibrant flavors of Sonoma pairing Dustin’s great culinary talents with Valette Wines (where I am a Wine Club Member). Chef Dustin Valette doing what he does best, being an amazing host sharing his Valette Wines Chardonnay with us.
The Steak guests enjoyed during the Valette Dinner at Timber Cove was heavenly. It paired perfectly with the two stellar Valette Wines Pinot Noir Wines.
