If you’re wondering where to go in 2024, look no further. I started the year off in Nicaragua and had the most amazing time there. Luxury meets tropical in Rancho Santana, and the food is on another level of delicious. Follow along below to see The Spectacular Rancho Santana Dining Guide.
Be sure to check out my blog on my amazing stay at The Luxurious Rancho Santana Resort.
Dining at Rancho Santana
One of the most amazing aspects of the hotel was the dining. The food was all INCREDIBLE and very well priced unlike some resorts where a salad is $28 USD. We enjoyed all of the 4 restaurants and my favorite was La Boquita. Comarca Limón #1, Carretera Las Salinas, Tola 48500, Nicaragua
The gorgeous La Boquita pool and patio views.
La Boquita has a dining area with Ocean Views as well as tables by the pool. The setting is super lovely and very relaxed with some of the most delicious food at Rancho Santana. See more below!
The amazing ocean front views at La Boquita. This menu was amazing it had Paella and some of the most delicious sushi I’ve ever had (with fresh fish caught daily). Even if you’re not staying at Rancho Santana I recommend visiting their restaurants you will fall in love!
As you probaly know by now I don’t travel without wine so shown is the 2012 Williams Selyem Chardonnay which was heavenly with this incredible sushi. Read more about Williams Selyem Winery here.
La Finca y El Mar
La Finca y El Mar is your place for a unique dining experience. This is the more high-end fine dining of the hotel restaurants and we celebrated our Anniversary dinner here which was heavenly. The service is wonderful, food delicious and the setting lovely. Be sure to request a table closest to the ocean so you can enjoy the ocean views. Comarca Limón #1, Carretera Las Salinas, Tola 48500, Nicaragua
For our 3 year anniversary I brought a spectacular bottle of Ruinart Champagne to enjoy! Ruinart is a magical Maison in Champagne that I’ve had the pleasure of visiting. See my Maison Ruinart Visit and Tasting on the blog here.

There are plenty of options at this spot if you’re looking for something to fit your dietary restrictions. Both good for you and incredibly delicious!
La Taqueria at the Beach (The Taco Shop by the Surf Beach)
Go out for a surf and then grab a taco and a beer at La Taqueria at the beach. These tacos in the afternoon along with the ceviche are the best thing to eat while looking out at that view. This was of course my FAVORITE afternoon hang while Robert was surfing I would sit here enjoy a Margarita, some chips and salsa then a few tacos.
Talk about stunning views to go with your margarita cocktail and some really delicious and fresh tacos!
