4505 Meats & Burgers is one of the best spots in San Francisco for authentic BBQ in a laid back, fun setting. I have to say after doing my first stage, for those of you not sure what that is a stage is typically done in the industry by new chefs shadowing other experienced chefs. I did this as a fun experience to learn from a talented Chef making incredible BBQ (one of my favorite food groups). After that experience and eating most everything on the menu at 4505 Meats & BBQ I can say that I’m in love…… 705 Divisadero (at Grove St.), San Francisco, 94117. Open 7 days a week 10:30 am – 10 pm Sunday – Thursday. Friday and Saturday- 10:30 am – 11pm.

Lines down the block on a busy Saturday afternoon. Trust me it is worth the wait and part of the experience! It reminds me of one of Anthony Bourdain’s favorite BBQ spots in Kansas City, Joe’s Kansas City BBQ anything fabulous requires a wait!

It’s hard to decide which I like better, the Fried Chicken, Burger or Pulled Pork Sandwich. They may be an equal tie!

Digging into their incredible Ribs Beans and delicious bread rolls. And yes pretty hard not to enjoy a beer when eating BBQ.
