During my fabulous stay at The Little River Inn I had the pleasure of dining with them at the Little River Inn Restaurant. Read more below.
Upon my arrival at the restaurant, guests were welcomed with directions to the bar and COVID-safe outdoor dining area. My visit was in October of 2020 (during COVID) so many precautions were being taken by the hotel for both the guest and the staff’s safety.
Prior to entering the restaurant, the staff takes guest’s temperatures. I am always happy to see businesses like the Little River Inn Restaurant taking their COVID protocols so seriously, which makes me as a guest feel at ease traveling during COVID.
Speaking of COVID travel, check out my chic face mask from Kitsch in the photo above! If you’re looking to find the best face masks, please refer to My Favorite Reusable Face Masks blog post here! Additionally, see my Best Designer Face Mask blog post here.
After the temperature check, the staff directed me and Ernestine to this enchanting illuminated path to the outdoor Little River Inn Restaurant. Look how gorgeous the foliage looks with the incorporation of a little string light magic.
Both the Little River Inn and the Little River Inn Restaurant are pet-friendly. Ernestine never had to leave my side! She was the perfect dinner date.
When stepping foot in the Little River Inn Restaurant’s outdoor dining space, created in lieu of COVID-19, I was immediately impressed by the look and feel. Not only do they follow CDC guidelines by separating each table by more than six feet, but they also managed to create a beautiful ambiance. String lights, heaters, and potted plants throughout to ensure that the new COVID dining experience cuts no corners in terms of quality.
Table for two. With plenty of comfort, light, and warmth, I am ready to eat!
Once settled, I ordered garlic fries and their “jeweled” cauliflower. The cauliflower dish is tahini crusted and served over a cumin carrot puree, amandine style. And of course, I paired my meal with a glass of sparkling wine to celebrate a fantastic evening out!
For my entree, I ordered the red wine braised short ribs. This heavenly dish comes with oyster mushrooms, brussels sprouts, creamy polenta, and a red wine jus. While my meal was top-notch, the Little River Inn Restaurant has many other delightful dishes. I recommend taking a look at the menu here to see all their enticing options.
Thank you to the Little River Inn and the Little River Inn Restaurant for showing me such an accommodating and satisfying dining experience. I hope to be back soon!
