There’s nothing like enjoying a luxury staycation at an absolutely amazing place especially when it’s just a few steps from my home, also located in Healdsburg. This gorgeous recently reopened luxury boutique hotel is a dream. I am feeling relaxed and refreshed after staying at The Madrona, Healdsburg.
The Madrona Boutique Hotel
My stay in the original Victorian House was truly one of a kind. It had the perfect balance of a charming historic hotel, updated with a sexy twist by the Co-Owner and beyond talented Designer Jey Jeffers. I was in constant awe of the beautiful and luxurious amenities included both for the guest and my furry little Pet Ernestine as The Madrona is extremely pet friendly (another perk I adore about the hotel). 1001 Westside Rd, Healdsburg, CA 95448
All smiles during my stay at The Madrona. This evening I enjoyed craft cocktails from their gorgeous bar (see more below) followed by dinner at their restaurant, Restaurant at The Madrona.
The Madrona Interior Design by Jay Jeffers
The new and unique interior design was just as stunning as the exterior. The talented owner and designer, Jay Jeffers, and hotelier partner and owner, Cory Schisler, have done an exquisite job. The hospitality experience is just as delightful with the hotel thinking of various little details to enhance a guest’s stay.
Best described by Co-Owner & Designer Jay Jeffers, “The Madrona is one of those rare places that invites in the extraordinary each day. Its unique history, natural beauty, and seclusion will beckon to discerning seekers far and wide.”
The gorgeous lobby. It’s so chic, yet also very warm and inviting as if it’s your own home. I settled in quite nicely as you’ll see below!
There are a variety of gorgeous and newly renovated rooms to choose from, each one equally as stunning…
This is the gorgeous room I stayed in which is in the original main house just above the lobby. It had stunning views of Healdsburg, the pool and the stunning hotel gardens. I felt so pampered during my two night stay here! Thanks again for having me as your guest Madrona it was magical.
There is so much detail in every part of The Madrona Boutique Hotel, it’s very impressive.
I take every chance I can to take Ernestine along for a vacation with me. She loves joining me and experiencing the luxurious treatment along with me. For more hotels to bring your furry friends, see my blog, The Best California Dog-Friendly Hotels.
Amenities & Fun
The bar & restaurant were equally as impressive and a blast to be around. Ernie and I were also able to enjoy the gorgeous hotel grounds including a pool, and gardens that are sourcing produce for the restaurant. There was also a gym including Pelotons, which is of course one of my favorites as I have my own Peloton at home.
Speaking of Peloton, check out my favorite Peloton Instructor Blog post here!
The drinks at the bar were amazing, adding even more fun to the evening during my stay.
I cannot forget the amazing hospitality, imaginative dining, and a breathtaking backdrop. Michelin-starred Chef Jesse Mallgren elevates all-day dining with his eclectic fare and unique presentations.
As you can tell, I am head over heels in love with the hotel… I had an amazing time and highly recommend visiting yourself!
