Costco’s Best Sparkling Wines and Champagnes

One of my favorite wines to enjoy is Sparkling Wines. They’re the perfect drink for any season or to enjoy as an everyday pleasure. And of course, for a special occasion, I also enjoy some champagne! Here are some of Costco’s Best Sparkling Wines and Champagnes (ranked from most accessibly priced to $$$) that I found to be delicious and a must-try.

Mumm Napa Sparkling Wines

This lovely sparkling wine from Mumm Napa retails at $13.99. I enjoy the Brut Rosé as well as the Brut Reserve. The Rosé has an eye-catching pink coral color with robust red fruit flavors and an elegant finish. The Brut Reserve is a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay that showcases the ripe fruit flavors characteristic of Napa Valley.

Scharffenberger Brut Rosé

The lovely Brut Rosé from Scharffenberger Cellars is only $16.99 and has a pale salmon hue. The wine is integrated with the aromas of fresh raspberry jam and wild strawberries on a cream-covered pastry base. The flavors are layered, fresh, fruity, and long. Iron Horse Estate Chardonnay

Iron Horse Estate Chardonnay is an elegant wine that is true to its roots in the cool, foggy Green Valley. For $17.99, it has a bright, complex citrus character and a sweet-tart crisp flavor of their local Gravenstein apple. Roederer Estate Sparkling Wine

For only $19.99, you can get this delicious Roederer Estate Sparkling Wine that is affordable and of great quality, Roederer Estate is my GO-TO for a fabulous well made Sparkling CA wine that won’t break the bank. It is made in the French style as Roederer Estate is the sister brand to French Champagne House Louis Roederer. Schramsberg Blanc de Blanc

Schramsberg Vineyards creates extraordinary sparkling wines one of which is the Blanc de Blanc. Retailing at $28.99, this lovely wine has bright aromas of Meyer lemon, golden apple, pear, and vanilla cookie which intermingle with hints of warm pastry and cinnamon.

Domain Carneros Brut Rosé

The Domain Carneros Brut Rosé has an aroma that includes hints of wild strawberry, raspberry, peach, apricot, honey, and exotic spices. It makes for the perfect fruity rosé that you can enjoy with a cheese board or blend with other fruits to create a delicious cocktail. For $29.99, this Rosé is definitely one of my favorites and is even included in my Top 10 California Rosé Sparkling Wines.

Taittinger Champagne

This Taittinger Champagne retails for $35.99 and has a subtle, pale gold color with fine and persistent bubbles. It is a perfect and affordable bottle for any celebration or occasion. It has aromas of peach, white flowers, and honey leaving you with a refreshing taste on the palate.

Moet & Chandon Imperial Brut

This lovely Moet & Chandon Imperial Brut retails for $38.99 and has notes of toasted hazelnut. The layered flavors of pastry, passionfruit, and candied ginger are also apparent. This is the perfect champagne that balances fruity and subtly smoky notes.

L’Ermitage by Roederer Estate

For $39.99, be sure to check out this Vintage 2012 sparkling wine also by Roederer Estate called L’Ermitage. It has notes of fresh ginger and spice, hazelnut, and Asian pear flavors that create the perfect balance between fruity and spice. Veuve Clicquot Brut Champagne Yellow Label

The well-known and adored Veuve Clicquot Champagne is definitely one of my favorites. I feel so fortunate that I was able to visit Veuve Clicquot Maison in France and take a tour of the exclusive Hôtel du Marc. This lovely champagne retails for $48.99 and is medium gold in glass. It has citrus fruit on the nose and flavors of lemon, pear, green apple and a touch of macadamia nut.

Charles Heidsieck Brut Rosé Champagne

This sleek rosé champagne from Charles Heidsieck offers flavors of toasted almond, white cherry, strawberry, and citrus. The juicy acidity creates a mouthwatering frame for the ground ginger and cardamom spice flavors. This refined and delicate champagne retails for $59.99 and has a delicate, smoke-tinged finish.

Salon Champagne Blanc de Blancs

This luxurious and large bottle of Salon champagne is perfect for a celebration with friends and family. Priced at $499.99, it has an array of aromas ranging from spices and flowers to lemon and citrus. The focus of Salon is to create Chardonnay and Blanc de Blancs taste the freshest wine possible.

I feel like the luckiest girl that I was fortunate to experience a spectacular tasting at Salon Maison in France which you can read about here. Maison Salon is a MUST for any Champagne lovers especially those with large budgets as these are upwards of $500 per bottle.
