For those of you Sparkling Wine lovers like me, Iron Horse Vineyards is a gem you probably already know about and have enjoyed. If you have not visited, I suggest you do. What I love about this winery is the unassuming, relaxed setting, the great hospitality team and the lovely sparkling wines. I know that seems like a given, but I have been to many vineries where the staff is not necessarily fabulous, friendly and informative so when you find that paired with incredible wines it’s perfection. Iron Horse Vineyards is just that…
The lovely Palm Tree welcome as you arrive to Iron Horse Vineyards. The trees really set the mood for a very relaxing enjoyable visit to come!
The Winery and outside area where guests are hosted for their visit and wine tasting experience.
J.S.F. tip
Be sure to call ahead and make a reservation, especially on a holiday weekend. Luckily we did that, but if we had’t, we noticed that walk in guests were turned away due to the winery capacity. It truly is a popular spot people love to visit!
Spectacular vineyard views. This is why I love to spend my weekends in wine country. So beautiful, peaceful and relaxing.
The line up of Iron Horse Vineyards Sparkling Wines we tasting during our visit. Yes please!
Cheers to a long weekend with girls, beautiful views, and delicious wines!
Me and my dear friend Katherine who was in town from Kansas City (A former New Yorker and San Francisco gal). Thanks for including me on this great girls weekend Kat and the fabulous stop at Iron Horse Vineyards. I am in heaven!
Hooray to all of these fabulous ladies and the birthday girl Amy (in the middle) for putting together this great weekend in my favorite place on earth, Wine Country.
Occasionally Iron Horse Vineyards serves oysters from the Oyster Girls, a company run by two sisters which was beyond adorable and the team was fabulous. I also think Oyster Girls is just the cutest name, right? It was our lucky day so we got to enjoy oysters and bubbles! Heavenly.
Although Iron Horse Vineyards is known for their sparkling wines I suggest you try their still wines too as this Iron Horse Vorral Vineyard Chardonnay was lovely.
A huge thank you to Iron Horse Vineyards for your incredible hospitality, delicious wines and providing the perfect setting for me and my girlfriends during this Memorial Day weekend visit. Cheers to many many more glasses of Iron Horse wine and fun!
