Ballard Inn is a new spot that I was lucky enough to experience during my last trip to the Santa Ynez Valley. This was a Bloggers & Media trip that I co-hosted with my Marketing & Events Company, Emily Martin Communications & Events and Santa Barbara County’s locally based Wine Marketing & PR specialist Lacey of Muse Wine Management —she is incredible if you don’t already know her!!
Ballard Inn’s new Restaurant The Gathering Table is one of the most intimate and romantic dining destinations in the Santa Ynez Valley. It’s beyond charming and was recently redecorated to have a cozy antique farm to table setting. With only 12 tables, it is truly a gem and something I recommend you experience. Their chef, Chef Budi Kazali has been named CCM® ‘s Ultimate Chef. More on our amazing dinner below. 2436 Baseline Ave, Ballard, CA 93463
The ladies before our lovely dinner at The Ballard Inn’s new The Gathering Table Restaurant
The hamachi which was so light and fresh in the most delicious sauce with avocado. We shared a few of these and everyone was going nuts over how yummy they were.
The most amazing Risotto I’ve had in a while. We shared this as an appetizer and it was incredible. A must try! It also paired lovely with the Epiphany Cellar’s Syrah Wine. Until trying this Syrah I was not really a Syrah girl, but this one was much lighter than the typical Syrah’s (which usually remind me of cough syrup). This was perfect to pair with food or even to enjoy on it’s own.
The chocolate woopie dessert. So light, fluffy, and delicious! And you can’t beat a little fireplace action to get cozy and relax beside.
The living room area for guests at the hotel. It is so beautifully decorated that if I were staying here, I’d have a hard time leaving.
Another one of the charming rooms for guests to relax and enjoy while staying at The Ballard Inn.
Thanks to the Ballard Inn for the incredible visit and meal. It was such a treat visiting after your new reopening and experiencing The Gathering Table Restaurant and I look forward to returning again and staying at your beautiful Ballard Inn.
