Butter Chardonay
This California Butter Chardonnay has aromas of apple pie along with rich creaminess in every sip. This is a very bright wine that is also aged in oak. This is a bit oaky for my taste, however, I know that any folks love a great oaky chardonnay and Butter is a popular brand so to each their own.
Dry Creek Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc
The Dry Creek Valley Sauvignon Blanc is a vibrantly crafted wine that has so much texture to the palate. There are tropical aromas of passionfruit, guava, pineapple, ginger and white pepper. There is a slightly cream but light finish that brings so much character to this wine! This is quite a delicious Sauvignon Blanc at a great price point.
Far Niente Chardonnay
The Far Niente Chardonnay is bright and lively with aromas of lemon zest, kumquat, toasted almonds and a hint of fresh herbs. This is a silky wine with vibrant flavors in every sip.

Frank Family Vineyards Chardonnay
Frank Family Vineyards Winery Chardonnay is a bright and balanced wine with vibrant flavors. Baked apple, white nectarine, and toasted oak. With notes of tropical fruit and rich lemon curd, this wine is a great one to choose from. This is a bit pricier than some on this list but it’s always a great wine that you can bring to a party of dinner and everyone will enjoy it and recognize it.
Be sure to check out my visit to Frank Family Vineyards Napa to learn more about their wines.
Ferrari Carano
The Ferrari Carano wine is a mix of new world and old world California Chardonnay. Tropical fruit, pear and peach, then a rich buttery and vanilla cream to finish.
Grgich Hills Chardonnay
The Grgich Hills Chardonnay has fresh peach and citrus aromas with complex undertones. Red pepper, Madagascar vanilla, wildflower honey, and a hint of lavender. This rich and acidic wine gives a long lasting and satisfying finish. This is also one of the most adored wineries in Napa Valley so another one that would be great to buy as a gift or for a dinner party.
Husch Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc
Husch Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc has a very classic style to choose from. It has aromas of white grapefruit, guava, lemongrass, green mango, and a hint of Asian pear. This wine is crisp and refreshing and pairs great with light meals, seafood and cheese. And for such a low price… this truly is one of Costco’s Best White Wines and such a great value under $15.
If you haven’t been to Husch Vineyards yourself, see where it’s featured on The Top 10 Anderson Valley Tasting Rooms.
Kendall Jackson Chardonnay
The Kendall Jackson Chardonnay pours golden and fresh in the glass. Tropical fruit, apple, and lemon meringue pie with a finish of vanilla, spice, and toasted oak.
JSF Tip: When I am traveling and at a grocery store or CostCo I always look for a Kendall Jackson as I know their wines will over deliver for the price. They own so many vineyards throughout the states and have access to some of the best grapes in the county yet their prices are still very fair and accessible. When in doubt buy a Kendall Jackson or La Crema for a great value and high quality wine.
La Crema Chardonnay
La Crema Chardonnay has notes of vanilla and cream with smooth texture. It’s a very creamy wine with flavors of orange, cheesecake, vanilla ice cream, lemon and green apple. This Chardonnay is great for the summertime if you’re looking for a creamy and juicy wine like this one.
La Crema Sauvignon Blanc
La Crema Sauvignon Blanc is vibrant and combines fresh aromas of citrus, lemongrass, passionfruit, white peach, kiwi, and mango and guava. In Addition, this wine has volume and texture and gives a juicy finish.
Long Meadow Ranch Sauvignon Blanc
Long Meadow Ranch Sauvignon Blanc has rich aromas of pink grapefruit, lemon, and lychee. It is clean, elegant, and crisp with a lasting finish.
Schug Chardonnay
The Schug Chardonnay is light on the pour and also has vibrant citrus flavors. It’s medium in body with oak and vanilla cream on the finish. Perfect to enjoy outside since it’s a crisp and refreshing white wine.
Sonoma County Chardonnay
The Sonoma County Chardonnay starts with hints of pear, apple, lemon, and tropical fruits. It finished with a vanilla, oak, and butter notes.
