Acorn Cafe in Healdsburg is a charming and cozy newer spot in the area offering a menu filled with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Known for its delicious breakfast and lunch options, the cafe serves a variety of sandwiches, salads, and baked goods that highlight seasonal flavors. My go to salad is the Quinoa Avo Salad. It’s super light and flavorful and fills you up yet it’s not too heavy. Catelli’s (Geyserville): Kale Salad

Catelli’s  located just a few miles North of Healdsburg in Geyserville is an Italian restaurant that serves incredible cuisine that has won countless awards over the years. Dominica Catelli is executive chef and co-owner, her leadership transforms locally sourced, organic ingredients into unforgettable dishes. Although the pasta dishes are delicious, don’t miss out on their kale salad that I love! Diavola Pizzeria (Geyserville): Chopped Salad

Another fabulous spot for a fresh amazing salad is Goodnight’s Prime, Steak & Spirits. Not only are their salads amazing they also offer a table side Caesar Salad which is so fun for a group dinner and a way to add a more entertaining experience to a meal.

The Burrow, is an exciting new addition to the Healdsburg culinary scene, offering a cozy cafe vibe with seriously delicious food. This is another delicious Salad and if you dined at Campo Fina you’ll recognize it as the Costeaux Chef came from Campo Fina. It’s super light, flavorful and delicious!  417 Healdsburg Avenue, Healdsburg.

The Matheson: Fried Chicken Caesar Salad

The Matheson Healdsburg is a tri-level restaurant that reflects the spirit of Healdsburg. My dear friend, the fabulous Chef Dustin Valette, and partner Craig Ramsey are the ones behind this new hot spot.  The Matheson honors Dustin’s great-grandfather who had a bakery on the Matheson site in the 1930s. You’re in great hands at the Matheson with their delicious menu made from locally sourced products, craft cocktails, salads, sushi bar, and garden lounge. The menu at Roof 106 rotates by the talented Chef Brian but you can always count on a super fresh, delicious seasonal salad. The Fried Chicken Caesar Salad on their menu in the early days has always been my favorite
