Carmel California Other Must Do’s

Carmel California Other Must Do’s

During the Fall of 2011 my friend Dana got married in Carmel, CA. I was thrilled to be invited for her big weekend and celebrating her and Jimmy’s Big Day. I was especially thrilled that the venue was Carmel, California since I’d heard how fabulous Carmel is and what New Yorker isn’t ready for some sun by October when it’s getting chilly out East. I only spent a night in Carmel as I came directly from San Francisco. The drive took about two hours and was full of amazing scenery. Some of the highlights of my visit are below. I highly recommend Carmel as it’s a beautiful, very charming, quaint beach town and especially awesome if you LOVE to Golf (like me!).  I will definitely try to Golf next time at Pebble Beach if I’m lucky.

Carmel California Other Must Do's

Carmel Beach – This a must see. I walked around town and grabbed an amazing sandwich at Salumeria, a fabulous Italian Market in town to enjoy during my picnic lunch on the Beach. For early October I would have never imagined how many people were at the beach, surfing, laying out or just strolling enjoying the beautiful scenery.  The beach also borders Pebble Beach Golf Course which was super cool to be able to see and stroll past from the beach front. Beach Front, Carmel CA.

Pebble Beach Golf Course – This must be one of the most fabulous courses to play (Sadly I don’t know I’m just imagining). The views from the beach of the course are fabulous I can only imagine what it’s like to play 18 holes (one of my favorite activities) in such a gorgeous, serene environment overlooking the fabulous ocean. 1700 17-Mile Drive.
