For those of you wanting to explore Chicago and experience their hottest neighborhood I’d recommend checking out the West Loop neighborhood. From growing up in the Chicago area and going on many trips to the West Loop, I have explored the area numerous times and have ate at many fabulous restaurants. So, I wanted to share my Chicago West Loop Top 10 Restaurant List with you so that you have incredible dining experiences. Enjoy!

Avec Restaurant
To start, Avec Restaurant in West Loop is the spot for those of you who love architecturally beautiful interiors. This spot is incredibly unique as it is covered with wood panels in a minimalist setting. But not only is the interior amazing, but Avec offers up delicious “Mediterranean meats Midwest” food. Their menu covers it all with a selection of tasty small plates, large plates, cheeses, hummus’ and, of course, dessert. For all you breakfast lovers out there, like myself, Avec also offers an incredible brunch Saturdays and Sundays that makes it a Top West Loop 10 Restaurants. 615 W Randolph St, Chicago, IL 60661

Au Cheval
Au Cheval in West Loop is a necessary mention on the Top 10 list. This spot mimics a typical diner but with a more upscale take on the dishes. You can stick to the diner classics and enjoy traditional sandwiches and egg-focused entrees, or you can steer off and taste the intricate eats on the menu. Beatrix
Looking for healthier and fresh eats? Beatrix in the West Loop is a must-visit for great food at any meal. They serve breakfast, lunch, dinner AND brunch. Beatrix even has a pastry and coffee bar. I mean, this place really does have it all! Make sure to try their appetizers, soups, salads, salmon and freshly squeezed juices at this incredible place. Girl and The Goat
Ever heard of the Food Network Show, Top Chef? Well, Chef Stephanie Izard, winner of the Top Chef competition in 2008, is the mastermind behind the incredible Girl & the Goat. Chef Stephanie Izard has a goal to serve bold, global flavors to her customers with an ever-changing menu of fabulous drinks and spirits. This is a lively spot that is definitely a must-try while in the West Loop area!

Little Goat Diner
Little Goat Diner is another incredible spot from the amazing Chef Stephanie Izard. It is a must-visit as it has such a fun but casual atmosphere to it, especially in their outside area during the summertime. The food is absolutely delicious and the ability to experience the talented food from Chef Izard is a treat in itself. Trust me, you will love it! 820 W Randolph St, Chicago, IL 60607

Momotaro
Momotaro in the West Loop is a must-eat if you want to enjoy a modern Japanese dining experience with fresh, vibrant, and tasty eats. This restaurant works to deliver the amazingly rich heritage of Japan in each dish offered on the menu. Enjoy sushi, sashimi, and both hot and cold plates, and more at this West Loop spot. Monteverde Restaurant & Pastificio
Monteverde is another restaurant from a Food Network star, Chef Sarah Grueneberg, a finalist in Iron Chef Gauntlet! This restaurant offers delicious Italian dishes hand-crafted from simple ingredients that honor the fabulous culture of Italy. From shared plates, to fabulous pasta dishes, to even a gluten-free menu, Monteverde has it all! Parlor Pizza Bar
Everyone knows that Chicago means business when it comes to pizza! Parlor Pizza Bar is a delicious West Loop restaurant that offers incredible Neapolitan-inspired pizzas cooked in a wood-burning oven. You are able to pick a za’ already created on the menu, create your own, or choose from the other tasty dishes at this must-visit West Loop Top 10 Restaurant! Swift and Sons
Swift and Sons is a premier Chicago Steakhouse with a modern twist. The decor takes after the 20th-century architecture but adds its own special touch. Once a Cold Storage facility, this steakhouse truly takes after its roots. This fabulous menu ranges from shellfish, salads, entrees, prime steaks and desserts. The Publican Restaurant
Oysters, vegetables, seafood, meat, bread (basically all the essentials) are what The Publican Restauranta in the West Loop has to offer. Each rustic dish looks to showcase the best seasonal and local ingredients available. The dining experience is also elevated with the notch drink selection.
