What to Wear in Wine Country?

Everyone always asks me what to wear when they’re wine tasting or visiting Wine Country. To help with the planning I’ve created a guide of some of my favorite wine country essentials below when planning a trip to Wine Country!

 

Bannister Tasting Room

Located in the historic Geyserville Vault building, The Bannister Tasting Room also doubles as an art gallery. It’s located near Healdsburg, California in Northern Sonoma County. They feature a private patio for outdoor seating and food is available from their neighbor restaurant, Diavola. 21035 Geyserville Ave

Cast Winery

Cast Winery is a beautiful boutique winery located in Geyserville. With views of the gorgeous Dry Creek Valley, you’re surrounded by all the beauty wine country has to offer. They have a female winemaker who I adore. 8500 Dry Creek Rd, Geyserville, CA 95441

Coppola Winery

I’m a big fan of Coppola wine, and I was even able to enjoy their wines at an Oakland A’s game they hosted a bunch of media too!  Coppola Winery is a fantastic winery that is a must-visit in the Geyserville area. They have a wonderful on-site restaurant (love their Pizza & pasta) and of course, pairing the meal with Coppola Wines.

For summer, their pool is very fun. Note it’s kid-friendly so if you want an adults-only pool this is not the spot for you but it’s a lot of fun and of course has great wines!300 Via Archimedes, Geyserville, CA 95441

DeLorimier Winery

Another great producer of wines in the Alexander Valley is DeLorimier Winery. They have some marvelous red wines that you have to try, especially their Cabernet Sauvignon. They also have a super casual, kid & dog-friendly winery which is fabulous to wine taste, relax at and stay for a long leisurely afternoon.  2001 Highway 128 Geyserville, CA 95441

DeLormier Winery is dog & kid friendly. It has a super laid-back atmosphere with plenty of outdoor seating for kids and dogs to run around and explore.

Frick Winery

Enjoy the rocky hillside mountains with nature all around you. You can smell the pine and oak all around you, as well as taste all the intense flavors Frick Winery has to offer. This tasting room feels extremely authentic with the Owner & Winemaker Bill Frick hosting you. As of 2022, this was his 46th vintage as a Winemaker. The wines are of excellent quality, he’s very charming and knowledgeable and this is a wonderful authentic Dry Creek / Geyserville experience!  23072 Walling Rd, Geyserville, CA 95441

Mercury Winery

Mercury Winery specializes in Bordeaux-style blends and varietals like Tempranillo and Mourvedre. This is a unique and fun winery to visit if you are able to get the chance! 21015 Geyserville Ave, Geyserville, CA 95441

Ramazotti Wines

Quite possibly my favorite thing about the Ramazzotti Wines location is that they’re next door to Diavola Pizza & Salumeria so you can order pizza while you’re wine tasting which is delivered to you! Robert Young Estate

Skipstone Winery

Located in the lovely Geyserville area I’ve grown quite fond over, is the magnificent Skipstone Winery producing beyond stunning and impressive wines. This was a winery I kept hearing about and was told I HAD to visit it and that I would fall in love and boy was I impressed!
