Stay at Andaz Singapore

If you’re looking for somewhere fabulous to stay, Andaz Singapore is an amazing choice. I stayed here and LOVED it. With a fabulous location, a beautiful hotel and excellent amenities and dining you will fall in love too.

I stayed in this room with amazing views of the Bay. Singapore has extensive Bay views and it appeared to be one of the busiest bays I’ve ever seen. I’d recommend requesting a Bay View when you book to see all of the action.

The Andaz Singapore pool is stunning. I enjoyed a few afternoons of R & R here and loved it.

Drinks at Andaz Singapore Rooftop

The rooftop at Andaz Singapore offers a breathtaking, panoramic view of the city’s skyline from one of its most stylish vantage points. With its relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere, Andaz Singapore’s rooftop is a perfect spot for unwinding and enjoying the city’s iconic skyline in style.

Marina Bay Sands Hotel Rooftop

The rooftop at Marina Bay Sands Hotel in Singapore offers a truly breathtaking experience with its stunning views of the city skyline and surrounding Marina Bay. This rooftop features multiple dining options, including rooftop bars and restaurants serving gourmet cuisine, creating a luxurious and vibrant atmosphere. Whether taking in the cityscape by day or enjoying the sparkling lights at night, the Marina Bay Sands rooftop is a must-visit destination for anyone in Singapore.

JSF Tip: Be sure to book a reservation ahead at one of the more exclusive restaurants. I didn’t so ended up going to the top bar (owned by the Hotel). I enjoyed the sights but the service wasn’t as impressive as I would have hoped for in one of the more higher end restaurant options.

Afternoon Tea at Raffles Hotel

A must-do when visiting Singapore is enjoying afternoon tea at the iconic Raffles Hotel in The Grand Lobby. This beautiful experience offers more than just tea—there’s a range of activities to explore within the breathtaking iconic hotel setting. From strolling through its historic halls, exploring their various boutiques, to sampling a variety of delicacies, it’s an unforgettable way to experience Singapore.

JSF Tip: Be sure to make a reservation in advance, as it’s a popular spot that requires a bit of planning. Also dress up as men were in slacks and button downs and women were in skirts or dresses.

After your afternoon tea save time to visit their Long Bar (read more below) to experience another iconic staple the “Singapore Sling” cocktail. They are quite strong so plan for a nap or a rest after tea and the Long Bar visit.

I paired my tea with a beautiful glass of Billecart-Salmon Champagne. Those who read me know how much I adore Billecart-Salmon. Read more about my magical visit to their Maison in Champagne here.

Enjoy a Singapore Sling at The Long Bar at Raffles Hotel

The Long Bar at Raffles Hotel is a legendary destination in Singapore, famous as the birthplace of the iconic Singapore Sling cocktail. Stepping into the Long Bar feels like stepping back in time. True to tradition, the bar encourages guests to snack on peanuts and casually toss the shells on the floor, adding to its laid-back, nostalgic charm.

JSF Tip: Make a reservation ahead as this is a POPULAR spot. Also the drinks are about $38 Singapore dollars, approx $28 USD when I visited so you may just need one drink to not break the bank too much!  They are also extremely strong (the bar tended said with the amount of alcohol in them they’re equivalent to two drinks).

Tour The Gardens by The Bay

Gardens by the Bay is a stunning nature park in Singapore that showcases breathtaking landscapes. Spanning over 250 acres, the park features iconic attractions like the towering Supertree Grove, the lush Cloud Forest, and the Flower Dome, the largest glass greenhouse in the world. It’s a must-visit destination that highlights Singapore’s commitment to blending nature and urban innovation.

This could be anywhere from a half day activity to a full day. It’s also super close to the Marina Bay Sands Hotel (the famous hotel with a boat like strucutre on the top). I visited the Gardens in the morning then went to the Marina Bay Sands for lunch after. Perfect activity for your first day in Singapore.

JSF Tip: Plan ahead and book your restaurant reservation at the Marina Bay Sands in advance as when I arrived without a reservation it was very hard to get seated at the more desirable restaurants. I ended up going to the top of the hotel and having a drink at the very touristy bar. It was fun to see the top but would recommend planning ahead so you can enjoy the nicer restaurants with a nicer atmosphere and less rushed experience.

As you probably know I adore Gin so as soon as I learned about this incredible cocktail destination planned a visit. I went on the first night of my Singapore Stay. I loved it so much I would have returned again, however, they were closed my 2nd and 3rds nights. Looks like I have a reason to go back to Singapore!
