Other Must do’s & Shopping in Bangkok, Thailand.
Jim Thompson – This is a must do! Jim Thompson is an American who lived in Bangkok and was known for his amazing silks. You can go do a tour of his residence, eat in the restaurant (it has very delicious food) and then shop and get some great gifts. The gift store is very nice but you’ll expect to pay higher prices here than a local Thailand Silk Spot. I think the items are worth the higher prices as they’re known for their excellent quality. I still have the Pink Silk pillow I bought in 2009 which reminds me of my Thailand trip daily. I love souvenirs like that!
Floating Markets – These are really cool markets about an hour or two outside of Bangkok. You can hire a cab driver to take you and wait while you shop.
