Body Chemistry Studio Pilates A San Francisco Gem

As you probably know by now, I adore Pilates and have been doing it about 15 years. I started in New York when I learned about my lower back issues (herniated L4/L5) and it has been life changing both for flexibility, avoiding back injuries and it’s amazing for your core.  When I was living in Pacific Heights I went to Mighty Pilates, a fabulous studio I adored but Pilates is like a dry cleaner, it’s nice to have one super local and close to home so when I moved to the  Mission it was time to find a new, closer studio.

The Mighty Pilates team recommended Body Chemistry and said that I should check it out and that they have fabulous instructors and is a great studio. And the rest is history. I love the beautiful design of this bright, airy studio owned by Artemis who also teaches class. I have found this studio has extremely experienced, hands on teachers (the kind that adjust you and help you improve your form). They really are so professional and accommodating to injuries (like my back).  See more about this Mission Pilates & Gyrotonic Studio below and see why I now call this my new Pilates home. 312 Valencia St. San Francisco, CA.
