Failla Winery is another incredible winery, which you may know from my Top 10 Wine & Spirits 2015 list, or from the Top 10 World Of Pinot Noir Festival Sonoma Top 10 List. As you can tell, I LOVE Failla Wines.
Failla’s tasting room and caves are located in Calistoga, however, their grapes are from Sonoma which is pretty cool. It’s very rare you find a Winery located in one county producing Wines from another county. Regardless, their Wines are INCREDIBLE and something you should experience if you like Sonoma Coast & Russian River Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The Pinots are very lush with gorgeous balanced fruit. They also have delicious Russian River Chardonnays. They have recently started making Anderson Valley Wines which I’m looking forward to tasting. Anderson Valley is another incredible California Wine region. See my Top 10 Favorites here.
What I enjoyed about this Napa Winery was their non Napa setting and vibe. As much as I love Napa (clearly if you’ve read my Top 10 Napa Winery list you’ll see there are some amazing spots). However, I also appreciate the laid back vibe of Failla. They have a super cozy house which is where the tastings are held or in their cave. 3530 Silverado Trail N, St Helena, CA 94574
The delicious Pinot Noirs we enjoyed during the tasting. I have yet to have a Failla Pinot Noir that I don’t adore!
A 2002 Syrah Vintage from Phoenix Ranch, a friend’s Vineyard in Napa. So fun seeing all the various Winemaking friends collide
Thanks to the Failla Team for hosting me and my friend Jacquie to your incredible Winery. Your setting is so lovely and so is your team and your amazing wines. Thanks for the lovely visit!
